Hi, I’m Dr. Hanks. I was born and raised in Utah and after a decade of adventuring and living out of state, I’m so happy to finally be back home. I’m a father to four sons and love spending time with my family. You can catch us cheering on our favorite sports teams, playing board games, singing in the car and joining our kids in the latest backyard game they’ve invented. I also love playing basketball, daydreaming about Lake Powell, and cruising around Millcreek on my OneWheel.

Graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor’s Degree
Graduated from Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health with DMD and MPH degrees
Completed a pediatric dental specialty residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital
Started my dream practice here at Happy Tooth Pediatric Dentistry.
Happy Tooth is important to me. I’ve spent over ten years observing pediatric practices and have learned that a child’s first experience at the dentist has a lasting influence on the way they view dental health for the rest of their lives. After completing dental school and residency, my family and I came back home to start the practice I wish existed for my own kids- down to every tiny but mighty detail. I’m so proud of what we’ve built and I am so excited to share it with all of you!
